COULD THIS BE THE FUTURE OF TWITTER ADS?
Marketing Dive recently reported on the launch of Twitter's new interactive ads, featuring the likes of Bose, Oreos and New Balance as early adopters of the new creative options.
Twitter has announced three new interactive forms of ad creatives for brands to experiment with including:
1. Interactive Text Ads
These ads will be presented in larger, bolder typefaces than traditional tweets with the option to select three words to highlight from a range of 10 colours. Each highlighted word can drive customers to a different landing page.
2. Product Explorer Ads
Brands can now upload 3D versions of their products for customers to get familiar with over Twitter. Product Explorer ads allow customers to rotate a product 360 and experience the offering in all available colourways.
3. Collection Ads
Similar to Instagram/Facebook product gallery ads, Collection ads feature a hero image for the product with the option to browse multiple product offerings within a collection.
These three new ad formats will only be available in the U.S. for testing before going into an iteration process to finalize the best ad creative offerings.
